Competa is a well known walking destination and for good reason, it is located just on the edge of the Sierras Almijara and Tejeda Natural Parks.
There are walks for most abilities and preferences be they a gentle stroll between Competa and Canillas de Albaida alongside a working aquifer or high up in the sierras on the ancient Granada to Malaga mule track. Whatever your preference the views are spectacular.
